Team at the Goetheanum


The team at the Goetheanum is dedicated to supporting the local and global work of the Youth Section through hosting and co-creating online and in-person spaces where young people can meet.

Nathaniel Williams (middle), leader of the Youth Section since January 2023, is the co-founder of Free Columbia with Laura Summer. He studied visual art and marionette theatre in Basel, Switzerland, graduating with a certificate in visual art from the neueKUNSTschule in 2002. He also received a PhD in Political Theory from the University of Albany. 

Gabriele Nys (right) co-worker since September 2022, grew up near Leuven, Belgium. She attended the Waldorf School De Zonnewijzer. Over the past 6 years, Gabriele had the chance to participate in a broad range of (international) youth conferences and projects. Since September 2022, Gabriele has been part of the team of the Youth Section at the Goetheanum. 

Katrina Hoven (not pictured) joined the Youth Section team in March, 2025.  She has worked in Camphill Communities, as a Waldorf teacher, and, most recently, for the Anthroposophical Society in America. She is passionate about the arts and humanities, understanding what it means to be a human being, and supporting anthroposophical initiatives around the world.

Jacinta Gorchs (left) co-worker since February 2022 till January 2025. In January of 2025 she shifted her dedication and work to the Pedagogical Section at the Goetheanum.
