"Healthy social life is found when in the mirror of each human soul the whole community finds its reflection, and when in the community, the virtue of each individual is living.” - R. Steiner Dear friends of the Youth Section, Today we are excited to be launching the Youth Section Global Access and Project Fund of 2025/26. What is this? The fund intends to foster global collaboration with resources among youth groups and projects in the Section in a spirit of fraternity. At its heart is an intention that each group gives what they can and each takes according to need. On our website you can read the call for support signed by 61 individuals involved in youth work from around the world. There are two ways the funds will be distributed: 1. as travel scholarships to young people who should attend the Co-workers' Gathering but are unable to pay for their travel and event costs. 2. as grants to support emerging and ongoing youth work and youth projects inspired by anthroposophy. Our goal is to raise CHF 30,000, of which we are raising CHF 10,000 to support travel and event costs for the Co-workers' Gathering and CHF 20,000 to distribute to youth work. The whole process is youth led, from the raising of the funds, the creation of the application process for grants, the receiving of applications and a social process that will lead to the distribution of funds at the next gathering. It is possible to give online on our crowdfunding webpage, or to make pledges offline by contacting us directly. In this newsletter we are also dedicating space to reflections from the February Days 2025, "A Quest for a pictorial understanding of Anthroposophy". Furthermore, we are excited to share about upcoming events and youth work around the world.
