Dearest friends of the Youth Section, The first sentence of the editorial of our December newsletter read: "Transitions and cycles often invite us to reflect on the past and look ahead with renewed intentions, wishes, and dreams.". One particular transition within the team of the Youth Section at the Goetheanum we wish to dedicate space in this newsletter to. Jacinta Gorchs, who joined the team of the Youth Section at the Goetheanum in a previous moment of transition in February of 2022, has moved her dedication and work from the Youth Section towards the Pedagogical Section. She has worked together with many of our friends from the network, and below you will find messages filled with warmth, gratitude, memories and wishes for Jacinta on this new journey ahead. In two weeks, from the 13th to the 16th of February, the February Days 2025 will take place at the Goetheanum: "A quest for a pictorial understanding of Anthroposophy". In relation to this event, you can read the story of "A Dream of Freedom" by Nathaniel Williams. Ana Dufner, one of the core organisers of this event, shares more about the background and intentions of this project as well as the wonderful collaborators we will get to work with and learn from during the February Days. It's not too late to register... The Biodynamic Youth International will host their first conference next week, from the 3rd to the 5th of February at the Goetheanum! In an article by Juno von Schulz you can read more about the group. We had the pleasure to connect with our co-workers from around the world via Zoom. Projects and initiatives from the past as well as the coming year were shared. You will also find updates from global initiatives that foster connections and collaborations within the network. Lastly, you will find information about a number of upcoming youth events, gatherings and programs taking place in the coming year. With warmth and gratitude, the Youth Section's team at the Goetheanum |
