In this newsletter, we're excited to share more on two of our contributors as well as thoughts on the theme!

Firstly, we'd like to share about one artistic part of the program, that will accompany us through the days: 'The Collective Journey of the Peacemaker'.

In an essay by Noël Norbron, you can read more about the topic that the first lecture will be on. Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq will speak on 'Melting the ice in the heart of men'.
We had the pleasure of meeting Kelley Buhles and conducted a short interview with her. You can find this linked below.
In the coming newsletters, you will be able to read more about other themes that will be covered by our contributors as well.

Furthermore, we warmly invite you to the February Days on Digital Technology and Spirituality - organised by the Youth Section at the Goetheanum.

For those who need financial support for the contribution towards the conference, we have set up a form on the website, which is shared in this newsletter. You will hear back from us once we have a clearer overview of the participants that would need financial support.

Last but not least: a reminder that the registration for the conference has been opened!
That's why we want to ask you to help spread the word about the conference. We've created a postcard, as a big poster is perhaps too large for some spaces. You can request them through the website.

Dear friends from all around the world!

In this newsletter, we want to share about the financial picture of bringing 600 high school students together in Switzerland and put this matter into focus.

Switzerland might not be considered as the ideal place to host an accessible international conference for young people, as the basic costs for accommodation and food are notably higher than in neighbouring countries. However, there is a great significance in the space where we host this conference: at the Goetheanum, an important place for the General Anthroposophical Society, the School for Spiritual Science as well as the Waldorf movement.

But of course we are also aware that many people are not in a position to pay for their travel to Switzerland, and then on top of that to contribute financially towards the conference.
We have been in touch with many students, teachers and classes that are fundraising with all their heart to make the trip to Dornach possible. Arranging concerts, bake sales, carwashes, performances, restaurant evenings, crafting projects,... the list of creative and community creating fundraisers goes on!

Registrations for the International Students' Conference are open!

Will we see each other at the Goetheanum in April 2024?

Please note that if you are a minor, you will have to fill out the guardian consent form and upload it during the registration process.

Before registering, check whether you need a travel visa for Switzerland.

Many students and teachers have reached out to us regarding the costs for the conference. We are happy to be able to share this now, so everyone can continue planning their trip as well as have a clearer goal for raising funds.

The financial contribution for the International Students' Conference 2024 will be 275 CHF. This covers food, accommodation, the conference program and commute to and from the places where we will sleep.
Travel to and from Dornach should be arranged independently.

We are aware that this is a substantial contribution we are asking from participants. The total costs for the conference per participant are twice as high, and the second half we aim to fundraise.

If you are able to fundraise more than you need, please consider contributing to our scholarship fund! This will help other students to be able to come to Dornach.
