At the end of March, we launched our crowdfunding campaign for the Global Access and Project Fund through this newsletter. Our goal is to raise CHF 30.000 not only to support travel to our Co-workers’ Gathering in January 2026, but also to support youth initiatives with small grants. The funds will be distributed through a shared gifting process that will take place during the the upcoming Gathering. 
We are grateful for all youth groups and individuals that have contributed towards the fund. We have raised over CHF 7,000 since we launched. We encourage you to pledge to the Global Access and Project Fund as well!

In our effort to strengthen our worldwide awareness, we have begun a new rhythm of quarterly meetings with Youth Section co-workers around the world. The new carrying team is comprised of Ani in Georgia, Clara in Brazil, Iona in the USA, and Katrina in Switzerland. We just had the second call on August 2nd!

After months of careful planning—shaping meeting formats and designing dynamic working groups to gather and honor the wisdom of young people from around the world—the first international conference under Structures for Freedom took place this July at the Goetheanum. Throughout the week, we participated in workshops, talks, and, most importantly, moments of deep reflection. Our goal, as organizers was not to lecture, but to listen.

In the last weekend of June, Loch Arthur Camphill Community hosted the annual ‘International Youth Conference in Camphill’. The conference was given the theme The Fabric of Community: Weaving a life of many colours, which was chosen to highlight the ways in which our lives are interwoven both within community and with the wider communities that surround us. We intended to create a space where the next generation of Camphill co-workers could come together, strengthen our networks, and share our inspirations and aspirations for community life now and in the future. 

In early June, I noticed a message from Katrina Hoven in the Youth Section North America group chat. She was inviting us to join Action Week in Dornach. At the time, I was in Copenhagen and felt an unexpected pull to go. I didn’t know anyone, I didn’t know what to expect, but having been at other Youth Section gatherings, I knew it would be magical. I called my family and let them know I’d be traveling back to the U.S. a little later than planned. Upon hearing about this spontaneous plan, my brother decided to fly to Copenhagen to join me. He must’ve felt a similar pull. We packed our bags and hopped on the night train down through Germany, heading toward something unknown. It felt like a great adventure. 

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Christine, I’m a former stewardess for KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines. Years ago, I went to the Youth Conference in Dornach during a break between flights. I returned from a long trip to Tokyo and arrived at the Goetheanum in pumps with a Samsonite suitcase.

This coming week we will gather together with over one hundred young people from across the world at this beautiful biodynamic farm and Waldorf school. We will encounter the questions and challenges of our time and engage in conversation, work, and art and whatever else emerges! We are extremely excited to welcome Orland Bishop, a deeply influential and inspiring teacher, leader and healer, to be the keynote speaker.

We are organising the Matica Youth Camp from 10.08.- 16.08. 2025 on the Matica farm, Vršac, Serbia. On the one hand, this marks the start of a five-year training programme in anthroposophic medicine according to the current guidelines, and on the other hand, young people can also get to know other anthroposophic fields of practice such as agriculture, education, and social initiative. This program should give and help young people to get information toward possible professional orientation in their lives.

We, the Youth Initiative Africa, are a group of African youth between the ages of 16-35 interested in Anthroposophy. Our group was officially established in July of 2023 after two members attended the Youth Section Co-workers' Gathering in Dornach. Currently, we have members from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Angola, and South Africa. With great joy, we'd like to invite everyone to our upcoming youth conference and safari! 

Are you a young soul seeking deeper meaning, community, and creativity?

Join us in the beautiful surrounds of Samford Valley for four days of inspiration, connection, and soulful exploration. Through Eurythmy, singing, storytelling, workshops, shared meals, nature immersion and biography exploration, we will gather as a community of kindred spirits to ask: What does it mean to live consciously, courageously, and creatively today?

The play will be surrounded by a conference from October 2nd through 5th. Barbara Renold, the director, has successfully staged numerous productions of the dramas in the past, the most recent being a staging of all four in2014.
 
This cast is mostly composed of younger individuals who are exploring the Mystery Dramas for the first time, alongside several students from the Steiner School of Speech Arts. The cast and crew have been in intensive rehearsals all summer, working together to bring this incredibly unique work of art to life. The conference creators and contributors are additionally an intergenerational group.

Join us in transforming the polarized ideologies of our time in an effort to create genuine social change rooted in our 21st century conversation. Including short presentation, well facilitated Q&A/group conversations/panels/etc., the arts, and after-hours connection moments.

Connect Conference is an international event that brings together high school graduates from all over the world. It’s a space to exchange ideas, discuss global challenges, and collaborate on solutions.

Save the date: International Students' Conference 2026

The conference is a wonderful space where ideas and experiences from young people aged 16 to 19 from all over the world can come together, enriching those who participate with multiple perspectives and ways of seeing life.

As usual, this conference has a central theme that brings us together and serves as a guiding thread throughout the days: connect.

How do we connect with diversity? How do we connect through technology? How do we connect with nature? How do we connect deeply with one another? What does it mean to be an individual, and how can I connect with others from my freedom as an individual?

The intention of this gathering is to open a doorway through which star wisdom can enter our shared understanding.

Our vision is to frame agreement structures between human beings and the sources of spiritual traditions such that life can be meaningful again. In doing so, South Africa can re-member its task as host of the New Mysteries, restoring humanity’s trust for our future.

Throughout the 5 Weekends of Anthroposophy online course, students will participate in in-depth discussion groups led by the Goetheanum faculty, engage in art and eurythmy exercises, and have access to video lectures.

Das künstlerisch - anthroposophische Grundstudienjahr richtet sich an junge Menschen zwischen 20 und 30 Jahren. Die aktive künstlerisch-gedankliche Beschäftigung mit den Grundimpulsen der Anthroposophie und die Begegnung mit anderen jungen Menschen ermöglicht ein Aufwachen für die eigenen Lebensimpulse und Berufsziele. Zugleich bietet das Jahr den Freiraum, eigene Projektideen prototypartig zu realisieren.

Anthroposophy for young adults. It arises from previous smaller attempts developed over the course of the last seven years as An­throposophical art and study gatherings for young people in search of a gen­uinely human way of knowing. Along with Daniel Hafner, various teachers have been helping. A schooling in projective morphology and Rudolf Steiner’s thinking will accompany ex­periences of color genesis, the origins of rocks, the growth of plants, the evolution of the kingdoms of nature in relation to man, the threefold human organism, the evolution of culture, the Anthroposophical impulse in the various arts, and social threefolding.

The program is offered in German with the possibility for translation.

Here at Eurythmy UK we are offering a range of courses for young people designed to help build a strong foundation, both personally and professionally, connecting us intimately to our sense of being alive, being conscious and ensouled - encompassing the entirety of what it means to be human and giving us the tools to lift our basic existence into art: movement by single movement, step by small step gesture by simple gesture.

Die AkBB (Akademie für Bewegung und Bildung) ist eine praxisorientierte Ausbildung zum Sport- und Klassenlehrer/in an Waldorf und Rudolf Steiner Schule. Die Studierende sind von Anfang an im Unterricht an der Schule mit dabei und werden in den 2 Jahren an der AkBB zunehmend eingebunden. Im dritten Jahr machen sie an der Freien Hochschule Stuttgart ihr Bachelor Abschluss. Die pädagogische Grundlagen werden erarbeitet und können direkt in der Praxis angewendet und überprüft werden. Eine breite Basis in allen sportlichen Bereichen und Klassenlehrerthemen wird gelegt und mit Fachleuten vertieft. Ein wesentlicher Teil der Ausbildung ist es, die Studierenden in ihrer Persönlichkeit zu stärken, so dass sie sicher im Beruf stehen können und auch den Anforderungen der heutigen Zeit sowie den Bedürfnissen der Kinder gewachsen sind.

The Youth House, located in Chestnut Ridge, NY, is a new initiative of the Threefold Foundation aimed at renewing the legacy of Anthroposophy by creating a meaningful, practical paradigm for the future. The Youth House hosts three key initiatives: a Residency Program, the Threefold Community Course, and ongoing activities for young adults.

Starting in Autumn 2025, the Youth House will offer a full-time, year-round residency program for five young adults (ages 18-35).

Das Kunststudienjahr richtet sich an Menschen, die ihr Interesse für die Kunst erwecken, intensivieren und vertiefen wollen. In drei Trimestern, die auch einzeln besucht werden können, werden die Künste Architektur, Bildhauerei und Malerei auf der Grundlage der Anthroposophie und des Goetheanismus praktisch erkundet und durch anthroposophisches Grundlagenstudium vertieft.

The Anthroposophy Studies on Campus is for anyone looking for an understanding of Rudolf Steiner's work and how anthroposophy relates to different fields. The program features lessons focused on the study of Rudolf Steiner's books, thematic weekly seminars, artistic courses, and nature observation classes.

Eine neue Berufsausbildung für Theater und Sprachgestaltung. Unterrichtssprache ist Deutsch und Französisch. Es müssen nicht beide Sprachen gesprochen werden, aber man sollte neugierig sein auf die jeweils andere.

We are starting a bi-annual Youth Section magazine! This will be like this e-newsletter but in a longer form and more aesthetically- and content-oriented. We hope to feature art and writing from friends around the world. Let us know if you have anything to share!
